  • Re: Urgent Help Needed - Coil Relocation Problems

    1. That's the Engine light that's on. There is no oil light on the Warrior 2. Unless you were on reserve when you pulled your tank there isn't a problem. I've ridden around without my gas tank and not have the lamp come on. 3. Sounds like you might have swapped a connector or wires. The...

[quote user="baclay9"] I guess I just need to do some more moving around until I get it right. I got so frustrated with it yesterday I had to walk away from it. I did start the bike for a minute though so I guess I got everything hooked up correctly. Let me ask you this. I wound the excess...

  • Re: Coil relocate question

With Churchkey's VBAK i found it necessary to unwrap approx 6"-8" of the harness for rerouting of the coil primary, LCV cable and sensor wires. This was the most difficult part of the mod IMO and takes some vision, so take your time and do it correctly when you rewrap the wires so that...

  • Re: Problem with coil relocation plate & V-BAK

[quote user="baclay9"] I put the Akitadog plate and the V-BAK on and am having a small problem. Everything went together good but my tank isn't fitting right. I can tell one of the coils is touching the front facing velocity stack. I have adjusted the stack every which way I can but it...

  • Re: Plastic liner in tank?

You can also run a hose from your car tailpipe into the filler neck on the tank, and let the car run for about 10 or 15 minutes. I use to make aluminum gas tanks, and if I had to weld on a used tank, this was the method we used. It really works.
