  • Re: Spark Plug-Right Front

Dave & Chris, thanks for the helpful information. I ended up removing the stock air box to get at the plug and to use my torque wrench for the install of the NGK Iridium plugs ! • Re: spark plugs

Here's a set of NGK Iridium plugs that i put on @ 10,284 miles 6-10-05 while living in MI. Shortly there after i installed Churchey's VBAK to compliment the V&H Big Shots that were installed at 800 miles. I subsequently bumped-up my CO settings in the ECU for both changes and still run...

[quote user="JPWARRIOR"] I'm not sure how to interpret your data Alan. It's clearly evident that you rode the bike differently while in MI compared to CA. Environment, Fuel formulations, modifications, mileage per year, etc.. were different for both sets of plugs. I think I would rather...

  • Re: Spark Plug color on one side?

IMO, normal... approx half the porcelain insulator will retain it's natural color. Here's what NGK Iridium plugs looked like after 18,444 miles on my bike. Note the upfacing white insulators on 2 of the plugs Original NGK Plugs @ 10,284: [
