  • Re: 1.5 inch rear pulley

kmdc ... I've done the Road* 33T frt & 70T rear using a 1-1/2" 130T drive belt with a DIY 240 swingarm. Chk my gallery photos and Homepage url if interested. The Road* 70T rear pulley is offset approx 3/16" off the Warrior stock pulley centerline. The belt is 3/8" wider and the...

  • Re: Broken belt issues

How many teeth and what Mfg's front pulley are you using before and after the failures. A smaller frt pulley (32T stock) puts more stress on the belt and that's a fact Edited: Your gallery photos show a Baron pulley (teeth?) I would agree that the Dayco Panther belt is a very poor quality rubber...

  • Re: 33 Tooth Pulley and Drive Pulley Case Set

Metrickkruzer, would appreciate the following info: Is it necessary to machine the center portion of the pulley where the splines reside? ( HUB thickness of pulley ) The Adapter Plate for the Chrome Pulley Cover looks like it displaces the counter-bored middle shaft crush washer and retaining nut. Did...

  • Effects of changing front pulley & rear tire

This is an old subject that has been hashed around quite a bit in the past and comes up frequently under different topics Here is some trivia based on mathematical masturbation & known mechanics that might bring more clarity other than what has already been mentioned below: Improved light to light...

  • Hub Interchangeability

In my quest to upgrade to the 1 1/2" Roadstar pulley i discovered that the hubs are the same machined castings. Only difference is the colors. The heavier/thicker washer used on the Roadstar is to accommodate the longer stud projection present because of the deeper machined pulley that is required...
