Nothing compares to it and you made the right choice. It's also plug-n-play and guaranteed for life (PnP) The following is taken off their site.

What is the LED colors, brightness and locations?
We use the stock LED's, in the stock positions so it remains the same brightness as it from the factory. That way, it will not looked cobbled together. Another company installs many yellow LED's in the circuit. That sounds like a great idea, until you look at it. You can tell right away that it is not factory. The LED tail lights have Fresnell lenses, which means that they are designed for the LED's to be in exact locations for the light to refract in such a way that they are very visible. Yes, the other is visible, but it clearly shows up between the Fresnel sections, and looks out of place. Besides, many vehicles use red turn signals. With our Integrator, when the turn signal is on, it will flash from all the way off to fully bright - that way it is very visible and noticable.

Here's an early post by Darkstar from the past:

MD Wright LED Integrated Tail Light System: http://rswarrior.com/forums/p/17297/290144.aspx#290144
The stock taillight shown below. You can see how much better it is than the CA unit!

Re: M.D. Wright question?

EDITED: per JIHBONE

MD Wright ONLY wants the Taillight and T/S's per the enclosed

http://www.flashalert.com/integratorquestions.htm

What do I need to send?
We only need the brake light assembly and the turn signal wires.

Warrior:
Include the stock rear turn signals. We will take the turn signal apart, cut the wires about 1 inch away from where the wire actually connects to the bulb (so you can go back to stock if you ever want to). We use the wires with stock connectors and return the turn signals to you with the Integrated tail light. Note. You can cut and send us the wires only if you prefer, but please do not cut where the wires go into the turn signal housing. There is about another 1-3 inch of wire that goes into the housing that we need. Cut next to the bulb connector as described above. If you no longer have the stock signals, but still have the connectors where they plugged into the main wiring harness, please include the connector. Your installation will be much nicer since everything will have factory connectors. If you no longer have the turn signals or the connectors, we can still do the installation. But you will have to hook up a couple wires with quick tap connectors that we will send. They work fine, but once again, it is a much nicer, cleaner, more professional installation if we have the stock wires with connectors.

The modified light when returned is the same physical shape as what you send back unmounted. There will be extra wires in the modified unit for the T/S's and a minature toggle switch. Suggest you visit their site for the details as i think they ship a license plate holder but i'm not sure.

You can do a inner fender chop of the OEM part per Redhorse's site or pick up an aftermarket kit such as the Yamaha or Baron IFEK. Both those kits come with T/S ears and will need to be cut off if you go in that direction.

There is a popular mods section under Arizona Warrior that might be helpful

Re: Need under tail kit photos and ideas...
I also want to know what lights Alan has...
The diodes prevent the signals from "cross-talking" because they are sharing the resistors AND a common ground from the tail light. Ok, now the part numbers...
Ranger_b0b .... when i first noticed this post i thought you had developed an automated level control w/ feedback for the TAR

Anyway, neat CAD dwg, photo and detailed technical write-up of the turn signal LEQ (Load Equalizer)

For the record, the diodes in this circuit, using shared resistors, prevent feedback through the TS positive wire acting as a Check Valve and allowing the current to flow pos to neg .... as there will always be a common GRND for this application! Also, for those less electrically literate, you might want to branch the 0V so that there are only 5-wires

Just my .02 here and not criticism:

The aluminum extruded housed resistors run extremely hot in the heatsink enclosure so mounting them on the Yamaha IFEK was a good solution. There is a tremendous amount of vibration on the rear tailight assy and the exposure to the environments with the open wiring is increased with this mod. I would suggest you use some dieletric compond on the factory snap connectors and apply some silicone compound to all your soldered joints and resistor mounting screws and tie-wrap the loose wires to the IFEK! The solid wires on the diodes should be soldered else they are more prone to cracking and failure from the vibration IMO.

Once again, neat post...... my original Kuryakyn 4810 LEQ mounted to the IFEK lasted several seasons with lots of miles. The stranded wires became brittle from the heat and the GRND eventually cracked

If interested, here is how i did it the 2nd time around when i went Frt & Rear LED's w/ DIY LEQ @ 30W 2.8 ohm:

I bought some 12V load equalizers to slow down my the blinkers; they blink too fast as a result of my integrated taillight install. I know that I should tap into the wire harness that leads back to the taillight under the seat, but I have a question: Do you hook them up to the signal wire and the ground wire? I ask because the ground wires are no longer connected to anything. Thanks.
I don't know what you bought being that you state in the plural, "Equalizers" ? If they are 2-ceramic resistors i would suggest you buy the Kuryakyn 4810 LEQ or Signal Dynamics unit that is more user friendly and has only 3-wires.

The integrated tailight is still using a Grnd and the old turn signal Grnds are pigtailed or branched to one common wire that runs back under the fender to the main harness in the wire tray under the ECU.

The easy install is a Kuryakyn 4810 LEQ or equivalent to correct the flash rate with connections under the seat to the main harness is how i did mine.

The LEQ or resistor/resisitors must be connected to the Grnd and also to each turn signal hot wire. Brown(Chocalate) & Dark Green

Here's a schematic of the turn signals for reference and my mod is here:
