Here is some trivia based on mathematical masturbation & known mechanics that might bring more clarity other than what has already been mentioned below:

Improved light to light & rolling burnouts – YES

Reduce top speed – YES

Higher engine RPM when cruising the highway - YES

The speedo & tach will not change at all because the modifications are being done downstream of the speed sensor device. A GPS is required to qualify the changes at a specific rpm or mph. If i'm not mistaken the Road* 5th gear 0.75 ratio will indicate a different speed than stock.

There is no increase in horsepower or torque only a shift in movement on the dyno curves.

Keep in mind that deviating from the 32T stock pulley to 31T or 30T puts the belt drive train under more stress because of the increased reduction ratio.

The percentages listed in these 2-charts use the stock components as the BENCH MARK for comparisons

EXAMPLE: my ride has a 240/40 Metzeler on a 18 x 8-1/2" weld-up rim and a 33T frt Road* pulley = 3.56 + 3.03 = 6.59% diff

I purchased a 33 tooth front pully off a 99 1600 Roadstar. Will it just bolt on ?
not without having the lip machined off
The Road* pulley is symetrical out of the box! Remove 1-flange ring that is stitch welded and have the step machined 1/8" (.125") ..... I've done the Road* 33T frt & 70T rear using a 1-1/2" 130T drive belt with a DIY 240 swingarm. Chk my gallery photos and Homepage url if interested.

The Road* 70T rear pulley is offset approx 3/16" off the Warrior stock pulley centerline. The belt is 3/8" wider and the outer edge of the pulley runs closer to the stock swing arm by 3/16" (half the difference [] ). It's very close as has been discussed in other threads and it is necessary to grind the weld bead for the bottom tab of the belt guard.

The OEM Road* 33T frt pulley being wider is also offset by 3/16" either side of center. The Baron 31T pulley i suspect is very similar being that it is made for the Road*. Not having hands on experience with it i can't comment and only speculate!

If i understand you correctly, a 1/8" spacer is being added behind the cushioned hub inner bearing spacer and the inner whl brgs effectively offsetting the hub and pulley?
