I just went thru that here in Canada . Its points up here that we don't want , they affect your insurance premiums. The cop showed up, lied , [ three -uckin times ] the judge believed him I got a reduced fine ,still got all the points [ 3 ] and lost a days work. If you go , take a lawyer , they know the jargon. Good luck on this.

Nope , he will show . He's getting paid to show ,and he will get a notice to be there when you will be there . The only way out of this in the future is not to speed. Like it took me three tickets to learn ,but now my insurance company won't insure me . AND it was a long season last year just looking at my bike. Points here disappear in two years , I'll try for insurance then. Again , good luck with this one .
