My bike has been sitting now for two years,[ due to speeding tickets] and has been on the tender ever since. I started the bike once last spring to change the oil and replace with new, and there it sits. My question , will that battery be good this spring ? I guess I will know this spring when I try it ,but was wondering ahead of time . Thanks

Mine is a 2002 and there was no problem with getting a new tank. Now I have a beautiful red tank with out the road chips ,and it has 46,000 k. But I was freaked at first ,with gas leaking ,,,,,,,

Sorry to hear this out come. It seams to really be a game ,,,,,And I don't like playing be their rules. It seems like a no win situation when we speed.
