I may have outdone myself this time. GOOD LAWD this turned out FRIKKEN AWESOME... Fresh ground Italian sausage from Fresh Market, browned, added in BIG chunks of roasted garlic (also from Fresh Market). Separately sauteéd mushrooms and onions in butter. Made homemade Alfredo sauce (used an entire stick of butter, heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese). Boiled some egg noodles, combined it all with fresh-ground black pepper, a little white pepper, one bay leaf. Let it all simmer now for about 20 minutes

Got in touch with an old friend of mine today. Had not seen him in about 17 years. I rode over to his house about 15 miles or so away and met his wife and kids. He has a 1100 Honda Shadow and he hopped on it to follow me back to my place so he could meet my family. His left arm was torn up with some BAAAAD road rash but no broken bones, nothing like that. His bike would likely be totaled

Had to pay $9 for a frikken exhaust gasket at the dealer. DAMN. Oh yeah, I also replaced the rear brake pads and bled the rear brakes. They work a little better now but still kinda

Blah. I hate the political correctness thing. He thought the bike looked like ass and he said so. Big deal. I think it looks kinda crappy too. And the guy who owns the bike probably doesn't care (and shouldn't care) if I like it or not because it's not my bike. He can put a pink puffy seat on it if he wants.
