• Re: Passed 2 Warriors Saturday Afternoon.

Gary, I have been getting out most weekends and riding up to the shop once a week to check on the progress of my chopper. I am working part time as a consultant while I look for a full time gig, so my schedule has been pretty flexible. If we get close to 70 during the week I'll get on the bike for an hour or so. If we don't all get together again before the new year we should at least all try to go to the Great American Motorcycle Show together on January 24th. M

Sorry Randy if it isn't a simple bolt on I take it to my chopper shop in Woodstock. Maybe the phantom, AKA Scott Wheeler, could help? I believe he did his own upgrade to the 110" engine.

That's why we call him the phantom, he only makes an appearance once a year and no one remembers who he is. He was on the ride when we came back to my place to barbecue, good guy!

  • Re: Florida license plate laws

Law has been changed in most recent legislative session to allow vertical plates.
you are right, my mistake. http://www.flhsmv.gov/Leg2009.htm 316.2085(3) A motorcyclist may not conceal or obscure their license plate. The requirement that a motorcycle license plate be affixed horizontally is deleted.
Ahh, the law was changed in June. I read a couple articles on the obscene amount of money that was made from tickets

I believe all of the black Knurled bolt on covers and shift pegs are built here in Marietta, GA by Revolution. They are most known for their carbon fiber wheels.

  • Passed 2 Warriors Saturday Afternoon.

Saturday afternoon I rode up to a bike and car show in Buford and passed two Warriors one on 400 and one coming out of the bike show parking lot as I was pulling in. Was that anyone on this board?

  • Re: My Warrior redesign: step by step pictures
I got it at FatKatz . It is the only place they had a 13 gauge fender with the proper radius for a stock Warrior wheel/tire (120/70). FatKatz guys know the Montreal Choppers owner and will cut the fender to match the 5.5" width, at no extra cost. This is what the raw fender looks like: This is how it will look, fabricated (the pointed front will not be that long, it will match the rear fender shape): My goal is to have a perfect matching tips for both fenders. • Re: Dog has a problem with kids

I pulled this from the Vizsla site which pretty much describes most of the problems you are having and provides suggestions for training. These dogs are very smart and can learn anything with a true pack leader that provides consistent positive training. I bred and raised dalmatians for 20 years and the one thing I've learned is that there are no bad dogs, just poorly or inconsistently trained dogs. I would never use a muzzle or a shock collar because IMHO that creates negative associations to

  • Low & Mean Reaper Fender Install

Anyone install the L&M Reaper fender on an '05? I got mine yesterday and tried to install it, but the back end is rubbing the tire. I tried opening up the holes where it attaches to the bike a bit per L&M's suggestions, but that has not helped.
