My brother bought a Hammer, rode it for a day and took it back to the dealer. He was that unimpressed. I rode it and thought it handled poorly and it certainly didn't feel nearly as strong as my warrior. That was my own personal experience and I don't mean to knock your bike. I'm glad you like it.

I came up on a guy that lost it on the Cherohala back in ???? 2005 I think. He went in a curve too hot and hit the guardrail on a VTX1800. Both of his legs looked pretty much like that when the ambulance finally got there an hour later to pick him up and place him on the stretcher. Not pretty. He wasn't running a car tire either but I bet he would have pulled it out if he had been, what with the extra traction and all.

Got home about half an hour ago. Dwight and Jay still have another two hours. Bo, I had a great time from what I can remember. Thanks for having us. I'll try and resize my pics and get them up some time this week. For now, I gotta unpack and try to get some rest.

I think it's a great idea. I know myself and garnerwarrior, and others tried bringing this idea up some time ago and it was quickly squashed but we've found ourselves doing the same thing as you guys. (looking for roads we haven't ridden) I don't care where we move it because any place new would be a breath of fresh air. Having said that...I've recently moved (a year ago) to the Northwestern part of NC and there are some amazing roads here too. Garnerwarrior and Shag could attest
