I've just heard that the government is trying to change the law on speeding tickets and some other motoring offences. What they are trying to do is set things up so if you get a ticket and challenge it and win, you have to cover all the legal costs. Apparently having innocent people defend themselves is costing HMG too much money so they are trying to skewer us like this. I think their idea is that as it'll cost more than £60 to defend yourself, people will just cave in and pay up. There
