• Re: Comment I found on another forum, need some input please:
I am member of a truck forum, and sometimes bikes come up, here is a comment I ran across: "The Warrior is an awesome bike in looks and sound, but make no mistake, a power-cruiser it's not. My 2000 Honda Magna 750cc (44 cubic inch) will spank a Warrior. The Suzuki M109R, Harley VRSC, and Triumph Rocket III are the closest you'll get to a power cruiser without dropping big cash on the Yamaha V-Max. All that said, if you love the warrior, get it!

  • Re: I wouldn't recommend trying this with a car tire

A car tire could do that. They are just as good as MC tires and they last longer.........LOL
If you look hard enough, you can find evidence that wearing a helmet can actually be more costly than not wearing one. In a serious accident a helmet may help you survive, leading to long term medical care or disability. A helmetless rider maybe doesn't survive and funeral expenses are it. If we're just talking about cost.
See!! Abolish the law so all the mouth breathers will exit this world in a more rapid fashion. Call your congressman.
How about all of the states obolish the helmet laws and let the insurance companies ask the riders when setting up the policy "do you wear helmet, yes or no", if no you'll pay more, if yes and you aren't wearing the helmet when in an accident, oh well, lifes a b*tch. I always wear a helmet, I understand people not wanting to, it's their choice and shouldn't be up to the government, but the rest of us shouldn't have to support their

  • Re: R.I.P. Peter Lenz

RIP Good luck to his family and trainers. Looks liek they will all get dragged through the mud beofre this is over. What most people haven't figured out is that any of us can go at any time. Spending your life playing it safe doesn't necessarily prolong life.
Rx Warrior " (It is very interesting that every one of the riders below is leaning their bodies in the wrong direction)" Sometimes when you countersteer and it's not enough, you push the bike downward on the lower handlebar and end up with your wight on top of the bike - it works
If you believe this then you should sell your bike before you kill yourself or someone else. There is no time EVER that you should counter-lean. If you think there is

  • Re: Car Tire? = BAD IDEA!
A car tire is great on a cruiser or touring bike although you will hear differently from those with no experience. A car tire on a sport bike is just foolish.
Why? If the CT handles on the rear as good as a MC tire then it should work fine on any bike...
I think everybodys idea of "Handleing" would be different based on the roads in your area. No it wont handle the twisties as good as a mc tire. Does it grip during acceleration? Yes- Does it grip during a quick stop? Yes. Does it handle rain and wet conditions? Yes. I actually feel more confident in the rain due to a wider contact patch. Does it last 3-4 times longer than a mc tire? Yes. Nobody said that it would handle the same in a race situation,

Here's one... Why don't they run them in Moto GP? They last a lot longer. Would be great to lap the field because you don't have to change tires? I will tell you why.. They do not handle as well at high speeds through corners. Glad they fit your riding style. Glad they work for you. They are not a 100% solution for every rider. BTW, just because someone doesn't fit your idea of a valid argument means nothing.
