If in fact the bars are slightly out of round, I would suggest getting a C-Clamp and spinning it around the bars to see where the bigger part of the oval is and then put the c-clamp directly over the biggest part of the oval and tighten hard but a little at a time until the bars are round again. You may have to do that at several locations along the grip area.....just don't flatten it the other way. YES, it will take a very hefty c-clamp. (makes complete sense in my head, hopefully that isn't

What about some dry powdered graphite in there for a little friction reduction. (Available at the key section of any hardware store.)

I know this had been on here before, I just couldn't find the topic to add to it. This guy is hilarious! Another classis quote "War hero? No. I was a doc in Vietnam. My job was to say "This is what happens when you screw a hooker, kid. Put this cream on your pecker." https://twitter.com/shitmydadsays (is it just me or is this guy the future jamesd?)

Well, the first step is complete. We had decided if we didn't want to regret our boat purchase we better get the boat we want now and not have to upgrade in a year. That meant a new tow vehicle. Picked up a lightly used 08 tundra 4 door yesterday. I left the house on my way to Home depot and sent a text of this pic to the wife with the words UH-OH.....she flipped but was ok in the end. They gave me a great deal....Finance guy admitted they are hurting since the recall publicity. Also, got to

They are pretty cheap here....I think I paid about 25.00. Paid for itself the first time I used it...it's that easy. I should mention I'm probably on of the very few people in the world that actually flush the brake fluid in all my vehicle every 2-3 years as recommended. It really makes that job a breeze. Hardest part becomes watching the resevoir to be sure it doesn't get empty.

I just joined the yamaha jetboaters forum....That makes forum number 5 I'll be browsing on a regular basis. I did get to ride my bike about 200 miles yesterday to look at a set of jet skis that we decided not to buy. After really considering jet skis, we realized we'd be much happer with a jet boat. Any fellow jet boaters. Based on the price I'm willing to pay (I think 10K is my ceiling) I'm looking at a 2001 - 2003 7 passenger - 21 footer. Twin 135hp 2 strokes...wish me luck.
