I just read this Topic for the first time & there is no bad advice here. But I feel you are not out of trouble yet, It is a long road to recovery. Now more than ever be on top of the situation, your brothers head is still not clear & it will be easy for him to think that he can handle his problem on his own, (I doubt he can) Your doing a great job & your love for your brother shows. but dont slack off now. I have been there (not with H) & found it almost easy to stay clean for a month

A woman goes into Bass Pro Shop to buy a rod and reel for her grandson's birthday. She doesn't know which one to get so she just grabs one and goes over to the counter. A Bass Pro Shop associate is standing there wearing dark shades. She says, 'Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?' One day while working at a car dealership, A customor came to pick up his car from the service dept. We had a service runner drive the car up to the entrance for the cust. He came back in the shop within a few moments after leaveing screaming & yelling that someone farted in his car just before he got in it. Well he made a big scene & went to several managers ranting the whole time in front of all employees & other customers, in short, he was being a real @ss & makeing it a big deal
I pulled this off the web but I'm not sure what 100% acetone would do to paint. "Because the active ingredient in Crazy Glue and other super bonders is cyanoacrylics, what you really need is 100% acetone."
Available at hdw./paint stores

You could try pure acitone which most nail polish removers have in them but try it in the pure form. Try it on the paint in a non visable area first to make sure the paint will not be affected. 3M also has a adhesive remover which works very well & is paint safe but not sure if it will work on crazy glue. put some on a rag or cotton ball & keep soaking the glue then try to remove with fingernail. if all else fails get some better glue & put the emblem back on Mike
