It's actually a Pattens swing arm at +1" over their stock length, I believe the fender is a Fat Katz (sp?) fender as stated. Ben modified the fender quite a bit to have it "float" off the swing arm like it does and he also welded up a cool tail to it to house the flexible LED brake/tail/turn lights. And then his painter matched the stock metallic titanium paint perfectly so it blended right in with the rest of the tins. Ben always leaves the air ride up when it's in the shop

Your individual riser measurement of 7-1/8" looks good for a 50" total rise. Don't forget to drop the carriage by the thickness of your tread material (i.e. make the bottom step shorter by the thickness of the tread so when you add the tread on top it will equal the 7-1/8" you are looking for) and shorten the carriage by the thickness of your riser material if you are enclosing the risers (otherwise your very top step will be too wide by the thickness of the riser material). I have one on my bike, but I have a 1" over Patten Cycles swing arm, an AirFX air ride suspension and custom seat. The frenched in LED's look cool too. It was a lot of work (my builder will attest to that), but it sure looks nice slammed down. Give me a shout if you need more details, I'm not too far from you over here in NW Indiana. Josh/3RDDAY

In a way I disowned HER. I like riding solo better than two up so I bought her a V-Star 650 Classic of her own for our anniversary (she wanted a couch). She's already outgrown it though and we're looking for something with more get up and go. Josh/3RDDAY

It's a 300 Metz. Ben Taylor at Insight Customs in Demotte, Indiana did the build. He started with a Fat Cats fender blank and ended up with it mounted to the swing arm with frenched LED's. Rides like a dream with the AirFX air ride suspension. Check out www.InsightCustoms.com for more info on his shop. Josh

I have an '03 with the Metallic Titanium paint and black powder coated wheels. Check out my gallery as I'm uninitiated in the art of attaching pictures. Though you can't see it clearly, the spokes are highlighted with body color paint as a subtle contrast to the black wheels. You can really see it sparkle in the sunlight. Hope this helps. Josh/3RDDAY
