I've had more problems with UPS than ANY other shipper. Not only are they the most expensive, they are also the slowest. Back when I was into mountain biking, seems like everything I ever bought came from the west coast. The normal delivery time from the west caost to NC was 10 days. When FedEx started their 3 day ground service, not only was it much cheaper, but several days faster. I've watched packages shipped by UPS, on their website with the tracking feature, sit at one stop for days

I also love the fine print on UPS tracking....that basically says the information you get from the tracking system, cannot be used against them if your package takes longer than the "guaranteed" delivery time promised. And by using the tracking, you pretty much waive all rights to any claims. Go read it. Unless their lawyers have changed it recently? I think it really depends on where you live. When I lived in the city limits, the USPS had the best service, and best prices. But FedEx ground

I never knew Bryan on a personal level, but I used to see him around the shop, and down at Myrtle Bike week. He talked to me like he had known me for years. He seemed to love his work. He was always a nice guy, and ran a good business. Everyone who knew him liked him...we should all be so lucky.

Most palces around Raleigh seem stuck on the $2.50 range, but Sheets on Capital had it at $2.25 last night. That's the cheapest I've seen in a long time. Virginia and SC will always be cheaper due to their lower state tax on gas.

Well....not on a Warrior any longer, but I wear a Shark RSR2. I've owned a LOT of helmets, and this one is the best I've ever owned, hands down. LIght, won't fog, comfy, 3mm thick visor, quick change visors, etc.
