The PCS lowering links on my bike have been on there since '03, the paint is now peeling off and they are getting rusty. I'll be pulling them off and painting them this winter when I change my rear spring.

I used to go there every sunday in the late 80's on my 900 Ninja, back when people would do burnouts and wheelies up and down the street in front of the dairy. Anybody else remember a dude called The Animal on some sort of old KZ? He did stuff on that bike you had to see to believe.... Won a trophy for my Shovelhead chopper at a show in the mid 90's too. I may have to ride up for old times sake.

Memphis Shades Bigshot windshield comes on and off with four allen bolts. I like it. The brackets stay on the fork legs. I think they have a few other windshields with the same mounting setup.

Make sure you don't have too much oil in the system. Do a search for the oil check video link, i'm to lazy to search for it right now. Last year I managed to over fill with oil and ended up with a lifter noise. Removed the excess oil with a turkey baster and after a few hundred miles the lifter noise went away. The theory (posted by another member, don't remember who) is that too much oil in the crankcase can cause air bubbles to get "whipped" into the oil by the crankshaft

Not really a SPECIAL tool, but a crow foot wrench on a long extension sure makes it easy to adjust the rear axle bolts with the Big Shots in the way. I'd like to see pictures of home-made fork tools if anyone has made any.

I just got the easy brackets and some Jumbo slant Saddleman bags ( they look like Bruce59's), IMO they look pretty decent (for bags on a warrior, anyway) and the brackets make it so easy to take them on and off. BTW, they now put little twist latches on the bags so they don't just rely on the velcro to keep the lid closed anymore. Last year when I was lacking cash and needed a bag for a trip I picked up one of these at the reccomendation of another member on this site: http://www.jafrum.com

I had a spot like that on my belt too, a couple hundred miles after I noticed it I snapped the belt. I'd get a new belt before going on a 500 mile trip, sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow is not fun, nevermind doing it a few hundred miles from home.

I'm 6'2", I have a Memphis Shades Bigshot that works pretty well for me. Keeps the windblast off the torso pretty well.

I run mine that way most of the time, I use a Mustang fender bib to cover the holes and protective tape on the rear fender.

I've pulled my baffles out a couple times, I can't decide whether I like the quiet ones or the stock ones better. They come out a LOT easier if I do it when the exhaust is hot. Wear gloves.....
