as long as you just take the front 2 pc cover off you dont, but if you go farther back to the 2nd and 3rd pieces you will get into the oil.

Here ya go AZ, since my coils are on my workbench,...lol. i used a spare piece of wire to trace them from the coil to the end of the boot, following all the curves etc. here are the measurements. i also stuck the wire into the boot until it reached where the pluch wire joins the contact that measurement is 1.25" if you need to account for that. these include the length of the boot, (subtract 1.25" to get the length from coil to the point of contact) FL 11.5" FR 9.25" RR 29"
