The carbon build up could have been a result of running high octane gas in the stock engine. I too need to get of my lazy azz and do the cam's, port &polish heads. Been running 108ci w/ 11:1's for years on stock cam's. I make 95 hp & 119 ftlb torque though.

I have ISO wings on legends forward controls. Works great for long trip's, have more foot position's, and you don't give up any clearance in the twistie's. There's a couple shots of my settup in me gallery.

Perfer my gas line on the outside of the bracket also. Plus some have had problems getting the last 1/2 gal of gas, out of the main tank, using a similar fuel line route.

When ever possible, never let the dealership work on or adjust your bike. If you have no choice, always check the belt tension, idle setting, air pressure, and oil level. All of them will usually mess up on one or more of these issues. The only time I've let a shop work on mine is on required recall item's. Still had to up my idle and tire pressure. I run 40 lbs. in the back and 38 lbs in the front. Did you get the auto tune module?
