For Sale: A very nice pair of QUALITY genuine leather black braided chaps. Heavy hydes, heavy zippers with zipper flaps on the legs, braided leather trim runs the full length of the zipper flaps and around the top & bottom of the belt area. 4 snaps at the cuff area. Is it ok to watch the goings on from a distance? I figure 100 miles or so should be safe.

If it makes the noise at idle use a piece of vacuum hose with one end stuck in your ear & touch the other end to various areas on the motor to pinpoint the location of the noise. Be sure to check the exhaust pipe connections at the heads, a small exhaust leak will tick like a loose rocker arm or worn lifter when the motor is cold. Post your results.

My old school cruise control is a fat "O" ring that fits between the twist grip & switch box. The throttle still adjusts but will stay where its put. A small zip tie through the "O" ring allows easy removal from the cruise side back to the right side of the twist grip flange where it lives until it is needed again.
