  • Compression release cover

    Just installed the chrome compression release cover and chrome cam cover there is clearence between the compression rod and cover no pinched wires but as soon as i try to start the bike it backfires instantly then wont start for a little bit i had to loosen the big shot exhaust to get the compression cover in there and they are back in place just not bolted down what gives and it never has done this before, is it the compression cover? any ideas will help

    I'm running ampro's modified map i tried the MATTKCRenoD map and i think the ampro runs stronger i could tell the difference it pulls off the line and hiway speeds stronger i have the same mod's as you, same year and color (small world huh) mine does backfire when the motors still cool going from first to second and i've never checked the plugs yet though
