Careful Shag. Wouldn't want you to break that fine china you got your breakfast on!

Seriously? You all don't see any humor in this? This is hilarious! How freakin' awesome would it be if he actually pulled this off. I'm dying from laughter here!

Looks great! I'm very jealous. I would definately run that tank. Looks like it flows nicely with the bike. Great work!

+1 on the heli coil. It's an easy and inexpensive fix, and allows you to still run the stock size hardware, instead of drilling and tapping to a bigger size. We use them all the time at work and I've never had one fail. Good luck on your repair!

You'll have to excuse Shag. He's a Harley guy now, so he automatically has to play the bada$$! (j/k Shag) I don't personally believe in any of this evolution stuff either. But, for those of you who do, power to you. You all keep searching for your proof. I will not look down on you, stand in your way, or tell you you're wrong. As for those of us that believe in devine creation, we don't need proof. That's why they call it faith. Carry on with your debate gentlemen.
The black and gold is a return to the old midnight paint scheme from the Maxim and Virago of the 80's
That's true, and it should get sent right back to the eighties where it belongs. A quote from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, if I may, "That sh!t was so gay! Eighties style."

I bought a hold over 08 in march of 09 and had the same issues. ( stalling and front end noise ) The noise was coming from loose front brake pads. There are some anti-rattle clips on them that will lose their tension. Just tweak 'em a little til they hold the pads tight again. As far as the stalling, RIDE THAT THING BRO! It's a break-in issue. I have 3600 miles on mine and she never misses a beat anymore. Hope that helps.

Do a search for left side clean-up. You'll find everything you need to know.
My question would be what is done with the "paste" that is left after grinding? My guess would be maybe dog food.....or some other type of feed. Maybe I'm in the minority but I actually think it's a fairly humane way to kill them. It's very quick and I guarantee they aren't grinding them up just to throw them away. I grew up raising chickens for dinner and when you chop their heads off with a hatchet, there is quite a while

Vegan=Hippie. Since when did we get all touchie-feelie over crap like this? I believe Goerge Carlin best described it as "The Pussification of the American Male". Well, the Vegans can have all the mercy for animals they want, but I feel I am sitting at the top of the food chain, and I will kill, cook, and eat any tasty little critter I please. As far as the chick grinder goes, those little guys made it a hell of a lot farther than the eggs I had for breakfast. Where's the compassion
