• Re: Obama- The Joker?

So the pic of Obama is politically incorrect but thi: http://www.vanityfair.com/online/politics/2008/07/bush-as-joker.html is ok? BTW not a hue fan of President Bush but let's be honest folks, politics is politics. The bitter feelings are there and will be there long after we are gone.

  • Re: Warrior as a first bike?

Where to start... The Warrior is my first bike. I previously rode a 50cc dealy when I was 8 y/o for one summer. That encompasses my riding experience and cred (stop reading now, I won't be offended ). I asked a similar question when I was first looking and got similar answers. Although not 4 pages worth of opinion, it still was basically all the same. There are a few guys who will tell you to wait a year on a smaller bike, a few telling you to "fuggidabouddit" and a few telling you

  • Re: Tire Problem
Do you check your tire pressure regularly? Low pressure will wear out a tire real quick.
For the love of all that's good and pure ++1 to this! Not to mention the MPG.

  • Re: To all you newbees

How about a couple links to 1) This is how to change your oil (with pictures) and 2) this is how to remove your tire(s) with pictures. I know stuff like that would be helpful to me. The seach feature is great but when you get 3000+ hits on "changing rear tire" it tends to get irksome to find the right thread that will actually help. For you old timers on here changing a tire or doing an oil change is baby stuff compared to what you are doing to your bikes but some of us are relatively new

  • Re: Sputtering and loss of power to instruments

My guess is 1) you rode through the Bermuda Triangle 2) a short in one of the 7 miles of wire or 3) perhaps one of the battery terminals jiggled loose. Very probable if you'd been fiddling with it. Good luck. I hope it's somehing cheap and east to fix.

  • Re: WTB: clutch hand-lever

Rest assured it wasn't me that outbid you.
Does the clutch lever from any star motorcycle fit? I saw several of those on there, but none from a Warior.
That would be a question for the Techincal Forum unless someone more knowlegable than I is watching this thread. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

  • Re: Hands getting numb

If it's just the black plastic one then that'd be a fair price. It's it's all chromed out then you got yerself and amazing deal (or a POS).If you have stock grips then no worries but if you have changed them out make sure it fits those style. Just a little tip from your uncle Larry.
