Dwight, thanks you post and pics helped out a ton. I just ordered the CPH 1120's, but in black. Yes I said black it is a new product I didn't see it last week. I am glad I didn't order then because I was going to have them powdered coated. Here is the link if anyone is interested. http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CPH%2D1120B

Let me first say that I have been researching bars for a little while and I know it is going to come down to personal preference but here is the question. I am getting ready to get new bars and grips. I am looking at the CP Massive T Bars (8" rise 7" pull back) bars for the drag/aggressive look and feel, and the CP Punishers (CPH 1120 8" rise and 12" pull back) for more pull back and comfort.
That looks like a good route to take...in the winter. Make sure your AC is in good shape!
Yea I know crossing Texas in the summer time is going to be hot but the trucks AC is good and the camper's is good as well. I plan on hitting up the KOA's for the night to relax and sleep. I plan on driving from about 6 am to 6 pm.

Southboundchicken and rdarnitall thank you for your support. This time away from the family is going to be a little tough but not like it was while deployed. At least now I will be able to call when I want and visit them at least twice before they join me. The hard part is going to be leaving them a few months later when I head over to the other hot spot in the desert.

Folks the time has come for me to start my journey across the country. The Marine Corps is sending me to 29 Plams California, my bike is loaded in the truck, the camper is loaded and hooked up, all that is left is the good bye's to the family, because they are going stay here in NC for about a year before joining me in California. I'm taking 95 south to 20 west to 10 some where around El Paso up to 29 palms, I'm trying to avoid the mountains as much as possible. I plan on driving about
