I was just searching "vibration" because I too have a vibration starting at about 2800 RPM. I have an '07 with big shots and TT fat bars. No other mods have been done. I don't recall it being there before. I can really feel it in the tank when riding as well as everywhere else. It is also back firing "more" than normal. It always did when I change out the exhaust but more now. I checked a couple plugs and they seem ok (I bumped the ECU 2 on each cylinder). Any other ideas

Oh, it also stops when I pull in the clutch. It seems to run very well and still getting good mileage.?.?

Was riding one summer, it was about 85° but I was still wearing my leather jacket. A yellow jacket got in my shirt somehow, I felt the first sting and wasn't sure what the pain was until I felt the second. By the time I got pulled over, off the bike and stripped the jacket and shirt off it had gotten me 17 times. Then the little *** flew away. I'm not alergic so other than being sore, I was ok.

I am ready to purchase some luggage for my '07. I can't decide between a sissy bar bag or saddle bags. I think I would like a set of just throw over saddle bags. I searched posts on saddle bags and most of what came up were old. Looking for opinions and especially pictures of your bikes with the luggage installed and what type it is. Thanks for all your help

Thanks, I probably did over tighten them. It really doesn't bother me yet, although, I haven't taken a long ride with them. I love the looks and even the position.

Anyone else install these notice an increased vibration? I'm thinking that was a silly question, but at about 3000 rpm, there is a pretty good vibration in the bars that I never noticed before. With a new vibration like that, I begin wondering if it wasn't there before because it wasn't there and either I did something wierd when installing them or its a new vibration in the engine. Just curious
