Yep, ran across his site years ago and started breaking in my bikes that way. I know others that have done the same with no issue. Now if I ever get my butt in gear and drop these HC pistons in I've had laying around I'll take pics of the old ones. John D
. I'll baby it for a while to break it in and then I'm going NUTS!
Congrats on the new bike. Go NUTS now. You want the max torque and HP the bike can produce? Warm it up and ride the hell out of it for the first 20 miles like you were on the track. This is the most important part--Keep the RPM moving around i.e. not holding at a consistent RPM. Dump the oil AND filter after 20 miles. Ride "normal" for the 600 mile and change again. Racers
Head work alone will not get a stock harley 96 cu in engine up to 105HP or torque. It is just not possible. Maybe he was saying, without being clear, the head work got the final few HP after other engine mods were done. That I would believe but I think it's at least a 103 now if not a 110 cu in. There are a few harley guys here. Hopefully one of them will come on and tell us what it take to get the 96 up to 105HP.
Yeah I would agree... if he's got

Oh come on at least it wasn't $290,000 A Swiss court has slapped a wealthy speeder with a chalet-sized fine — a full $290,000 http://www.newsvine.com/_news/2010/01/07/3725371-swiss-court-fines-speeding-millionaire-290000 Actually, maybe 1.45% of net worth isn't such a bad idea?

Yeah boy, about a month ago I was heading down a straightaway when this cager starts to pull a left in front of me. I choose to go behind him when he see's me coming and does he continue? hell no--he pulls back into his lane which means at this point I'm facing him head on and have to cut back the other way. I missed his side mirror by a hair. All this in about a three second window. Man my heart was pounding! This guy was a fool. I don't care what the bike can do around a corner. When
IF YOU CAN FIND A BETTER DEAL, TAKE IT! by Ann Coulter January 6, 2010 Someone mentioned Christianity on television recently and liberals reacted with their usual howls of rage and blinking incomprehension. On a Fox News panel discussing Tiger Woods, Brit Hume said, perfectly accurately: "The extent to which he can recover, it seems to me, depends on his faith. He is said to be a Buddhist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and

Here's a thought... Taking a previous statement from Hume. Q&A: Brit Hume By Paul J. Gough Nov 4, 2008, 08:18 PM ET ... THR: “What other things would you like to do in retirement?” Hume: “I certainly want to pursue my faith more ardently than I have done. I'm not claiming it's impossible to do when you work in this business. I was kind of a nominal Christian for the longest time. When my son died, I came to Christ in a way that was very meaningful to me. If a person is a Christian

Yep, FedEx Sucks. Whenever there is package damage they try to skirt responsibility. I made a point of working from home to make sure my pipes were ok on delivery. With a line-of-sight on the front door and an ear on the pathway it's damn tough to sneak up on my doorway. Mr. FedEx sure snuck his way up and left the pipes just out of my sight. I wonder why? Could have had something to do with the pipe header sticking five inches out of the box and half the internal straps busted? Took pictures
