Thanks for that! I think I still have the same ecu but are not sure! Some of the mods were done before I got the bike. The highest octane I've seen here in British Columbia, Canada, is 94 tho! Seems weird that my top end is 180 kms then as 5% more would still only bring me up to a little less than 190 when before it hit 200

I recently had high compression pistons and a taller fifth gear installed. Now my top end seems to be less! Is it because the speedometer reads slower with the taller 5th? Now I can barely make it to 180 Kms/hr where as before I had hit 200. Also, when going with the High Comp Pistons, should I also have a high lift cam to get the most benefit from them? What kind of performance change should I expect with just the High Comp Pistons without the cam? I have Cobra 2-1'a, Dyno Jet Power Commander

Hey fellow Warriors, My tranny trashed itself last weekend, just as the weather is finally getting warm, and it was worked on last spring. I had the recall completed and there has been a few issues since. Does anyone know if the shop will take the hit? I do ride it a bit hard, nothing over the top, but this is what's expected with this model is it not?? I'll own up to what I ride like: a few wheelies, rare burnouts and sometimes up to the red line for shifts. This is not abuse I hope. Looking

Hi folks, I was hoping to get good wheelies on my Warrior. I've been a good wheelie nut on other bikes but are finding it hard to get it right on the Warrior. I have gotten several but many times just get a burnout or fishtail! It seems if I try when moving at a slow speed then pull hard on the bars when using the exact amount of throttle and clutch it comes up good but still sometimes ends up with the back tire breaking loose. Anyone sucessful with wheelies on these hot rods? Cheers, Bob

Hi Warriors, My 2002 Warrior has K&N Big Air, Cobra 2 into 1, High Comp Pistons, Overdrive 5th gears and Power Commander 3 and I now have a top end speed of maximum 180 kms/hr, and goes on reserve at 110 - 140 Kilometers. Looking for answers to the fuel economy problem and if anyone has reached top speeds with these type of upgrades. Thanks, Bob aka: popeye

Thanks for that idea, but my speedo is in kilometers. Also, now my top end is not quite 180 kms/hr! Before the upgrade I was doing 190 with some left over! Shouldn't I be able to reach the same speed, at least, and at a lower rpm?!
-
Thanks Arizona, I haven't thought about checking the plugs yet as I keep taking the bike back to let them do it. My latest top end speed also is barley 180 kms/hr! I was able to make 190 before the upgrade with some left over! Bobby

Hey folks, I've recentley had High Comp Pistons and the taller Roadstar 5th gears put in and now I'm running a lower top end speed, using more fuel and backfiring! My Warrior has K&N air, High Comp Pistons, Cobra 2 into 1, and PC3. Is there a map for this combination? I'm going on reserve at 110 to 140 kms! From what I've been reading on here I should be getting much better milage. Bobby
