• Re: Tragedy at Ft. Hood!

Well I can say that it was one crazy experience. I was about 2 blocks away at our Family rediness center in a class about equal oportunity (irony) and then things just went crazy we locked ourselves in the building at the order or our commander and were there for about 5 hours until they gave the all clear. The whole event seems so sureal and just brings back a lot of fealings from when I was deploied. You cant help but think wow I wonder who was injured, is it someone I know, I hope its not, but
But, on the contrary, how many of those on base carry weapons? Is it just MP or MP and high ranking?
The only ones who are armed on a daily basis on moast any base in the us are MP's and Gate guards. Even those of us out doing field training dont have live amunition just blanks (hints the meaning Training) but yes we are suposed to be safe as a vast majorty of the soldiers here live in on base housing. You just never expect a fellow soldier to loose

But my question is are the axles the same to wher I could install one of these on my warrior? I know that also means a new belt but I think mine is coming due for a new one anyway. This link is to ebay to one simular to what I would like to install. any Info from those of you more knowlegable of R1's would be great. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item
One thing you may want to reconsider is the bed you want to use. The wheel openings on the 71 are round and the wheel openings on the 88-98's are not. They are more square cut with rounded corners
Ya I noticed that too but I realy like the look. I intend it to be something like this when finished only black on bottom and silver on top. I will probebly go with the 2 tone like this one.

It is a long bed C10 and I plan to chop the frame to a short bed and put a 88-98 chevy stepside bed on it. The LS1 will be made into a 383 stroker and is going to be a lot of
