That law has been changed I believe. I ride in fl.90 percent of the time and have had no problems with the vertical tag.

I am curious about how the front fender is going to fit after finding out how hard it was to fit the new low & mean front fender.Anxious to see the finished product.

It sounds like you are describing a low octane problem,and getting the ping on take off. It is pretty normal.Just give it a little more gas when leaving from a stop,or if you have high compression pistons you need to run premium gas.If it is stock just use 87.

To me the HP is close,maybe a little low,but the torque seems way high.

Same thing happened to me on my 81 Xs1100 midnight special I use to have.It was a faulty caliper.I don't know what happened to it,but I replaced it and that fixed it.You might be able to rebuild it and get by with that.

Thanks Alan for posting the low & mean posts. I never knew that the front wheel was off centered.I went out and measured the wheel and mine is a little less than an 1/8 inch offset to the left side.I would like to know why yamaha could not center the wheels,but I bet I will not get any kind of answer from them.

I think it does all come off.From the legends master cylinder you just need to run a brake line back to the rear caliper. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure i'm not.

The fender and the fender stays are from BMS.
