AlanH: Definitely keeping the Jockey shift!! lol... my original plan was to go with the internal clutch, but I had purchased a less than high quality twist clutch which I believed had too much friction. I do like the bars you have. What rise are those? I'm a man of my word and whenever you want to meet up let me know for you'll have a 6 pack waiting. Oldman: I'm all over that new right side cover!!!! I do plan on dropping the back with new links to get that fender lower, and a Low &
an extremely low cost (less than $50 raw) chopped rear fender, a sport bike type tail section, and probably a fairing.
$50 for a raw finish would be great for us who can't convince the wifey's to spend a whole lot at a time on the bike. Plus it gives us a chance to add out little finishing touches to it. Will most definitely be watching this thread!!!!!!

Wow... I feel like a newbie all over again! Haven't been on here in like 2 months and feel out of the loop. Hopefully I'll have internet at my place next month. Needless to say the wifey has been happier for she's seen me a lot more the past 2 months haha. Any big projects I've missed out on?? What's new?? So I need some advise... The more I stare at the pics of my bike (can't ride)... the more it seems like it doesn't flow right. So here's my solution. I'm going
looks good, nice job. Question, the backrest you have were can I get one? Have not seen one like that.
I bought mine straight from the Harley Dealer. Only like $130 for the backrest and the pad. If you have the factory rear pillion then all you have to do is drill holes in the back rest and get longer bolts for the rear bracket that holds the rear pillion on. Just an FYI... It will leave a dent in your fender about the size of a nickel under the seat. I
I know removing one of the front calipers makes it look cleaner up front, but how well does it stop? Its a whole different bike now. Looks real cool and clean. The right side cover could use a certain something though.
Thanks! It still stops good. Just like any other bike out here with only 1 front brake. I agree with the ride side cover. I made the current one real quick because the original one stuck out like a sore thumb. Will definitely be making/ordering

I would like to thank all of you who helped me out through out this build. If it wasn't for many of you... I could have never of done this!!!! '06 Midnight... I know these wheels are incorrect but close enough. The tear down DIY Gothic forward controls. This horn has been removed by the way. Mocking up headlight. Angle iron for
