• Re: Winter Mods?

Winter mods for me include: 1. Have heads ported/polished 2. Paint tins some color 3. custom headlight to replace crappy OEM unit 4. Have Carrozzeria wheels chromed or PC'd 5. Chrome a bunch of bits and pieces, unsure of what, exactly, just right now 6. install new handlebar bushings in top tree 7. install BrakeAway finally...it's been in a box for a year and a half.

  • Re: Floorboards Pictures
Cobra's Swept Floorboards for Raider are a direct bolt-in for the Warrior. No modifications necessary. They're quite comfortable, better made than the last set of Cobra boards I bought, and they're beautiful. I just wish they had wear bars. I occasionally scrape them--and I'm fairly conservative for a Warrior rider. There are a few more pics in my gallery, including a visual for how much folding the boards will do.
Where did you buy yours

  • Re: Floorboards Pictures
I've been searching thru the galleries looking for pictures of floorboads. Does anyone have floorboards that are currently still being sold on the market on their bike that they may share pictures of? It looks like Cobra isn't making them for the Warrior any longer. I currently have the Yamaha minifloorboards but I am looking for something large so I don't have to ride pigeon toed and with my feet a little further back. I appreciate any help. Thanks

  • Re: headlight cowl removal

The headlight is secured to the cowl inside the bucket...remove the two outer ring retaining phillips screws at 4 and 8 o'clock, and you will find 4 mounting bolts inside the bucket, two at the top in 11 and 1 o'clock, and the two lower bolts at 4 and 8 inside...they have 8mm hex heads. You may have to move the nest of wiring a bit to see/access them. Also, the cowl itself is secured by the 4 top bolts near the top tree...don't forget them before you start pulling at the housing. you'll

  • Re: Carbon Fiber Pushrod Tube Covers.
Well I have had this mold around for a little while and figured I should start making them again. There is a choise of two diffrent weave patters. The one on the left is a plane weave, kind of looks like a checkerboard. The one on the right is a 2x2 twill weave and it looks like a herringbone pattern. They just snap into place so there is no need for disassembly or glues. Removes easy for cleaning also. Price is $40 a pair plus shipping. Pics in my gallary are
