ohiomike:New question: Is it wrong of me to pursue to get them all banned throughout the city. There are two near by cities that have already done so.. I think its probably wrong for several reasons and believe one group of people shouldn't have the power to out vote another group.. but would like your Opinions
From where I sit, it doesn't matter what you do. Laws don't prevent crimes. They just define punishment.
Let the dogs run. Carry a gun.
It's just easier.
If that doesn't sound like a good plan, it's because it isn't one. But there will be a backlash, lobbyist, death threats... and general bull$hit involved in banning a particular breed of dog. And it probably wouldn't pass constituional muster.
And for the record: My dog is NOT aggressive, but he bites. If a stranger ( this includes my new roommate ) goes to pet him... he seems to assume that they want to stick their hand in his mouth, and accomadates them quickly. He has never drawn blood.
He will work very hard at getting out of the way if you walk toward him.
He's a sissy.
He bites.
huh?
