Brrrrrrrrrrr! I thought it was officially spring?
I'd rather dig up Ronald Reagan's corpse, and plant it firmly in the oval office for the next 8 years, than elect any of the bozos running for president today!

WRAL is calling for mid 50's today. Put your leather on and come on outside Heath. If you guys would like to keep it around the Raleigh area because of temps, I'm cool with that too.

I'd like to head over to Zebulon and check out Scootworks...but they are closed on Sunday. I've got no problem with meeting out on 64 somewhere..and taking some time off you guys' trip.

I am very bendy I dont care where we meet. Its all good to me. I f you all want to head east and cut some of Jd and Phillips time off cool. Plenty off back roads out that way. We might get turned around or flat out lost but thats half the fun any way. Either wendell or zebulon could be meet towns. Any one have any thoughts.

I checked out Mapquest and Michaels is off 15-501 near Chapel Hill..I wanted to take the back roads to avoid so much of the main highways...I live off Tryon Rd, so i was gonna head doen and it turns into 64W, then it says Turn R on Mt Gilead Church Rd.Turn R on 15-501..Michaels Bar and Grill is at 11520 US Hwy 15/501 N #9a....Map quest can get you lost though..if that will get me there, I can just meet any of you there or somewhere in route..whichever is fine...coming from Rocky Mount, you could take either I440 Outer and then take 40W (Wade Ave Exit) and hit 15/501 that way....or take 40 W from 64W and come around Raleigh the other direction and pick up 40W or near Cary. I live near Crossroads...we could meet there somewhere and ride to Michaels...Garnerwarrior...what would you say??

Well, I got lost last time riding out to Michael's, so if y'all want to go there then I'd like to meet up with Heath before heading out since he has once of those things called a "sense of direction" unlike myself. [:P] I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what y'all decide.

Oh, by the way... my vote is to head out before 1pm. It's only going to get about three degrees warmer between now and then, and everyone is already on here talking about the ride, so I don't see the point in just waiting around. My vote is to head out at 11:30 or 12:00 at the latest.

Tryon Road... anywhere near Cycle Gear? Maybe we could all plan to meet at Cycle Gear. That's sort of a midway point between garnerwarrior and Heath and I... Want to plan to meet there at noon? Or 12:15? JD, could you make it out here by then? You know where the Cycle Gear is?

I just talked to garnerwarrior (Dwight). He's in for 12:00 at Cycle Gear... Heath lives just about 10 minutes away from me. JD is out by Rocky Mt and Dwight is calling him now to see what he's up to... John (16shy) is down near Wilmington, I think, and I don't think he was planning on joining us today unless we wound up nearer to him, but I could be wrong. I'll need to leave here in about 10-15 minutes at the most to get to Cycle Gear by noon so I'll be watching this thread closely.
