If it's sunny, above 55...I'm there...the weather forecasters miss it sometimes... I'm new at this but would love to hang with the Warrior crowd and someone who will take the lead as far as the destination and and meeting arrangements....I will keep checking if the plans come together for a ride this Sunday....I sure hope so...looking to get my break-in miles done...she is bored in the garage [:D]

I might be up for a Sunday ride. Saturday from 1-5pm I'm taking the last part (the range part) of a CCW course so that day is "shot" for me. [:P] Michael's is "Michael's Bar and Grill." Lots of bikers meet up Sunday mornings to hang out and check out each others' bikes.

I kept mine but theres really no partcular reason to do so. I guess it's just good to have a spare around in case you ever need it. (Let's hope none of us do)Or you could always modify it like Travis did.

you know,I went to his site and saw the mods...i thought you were kidding around....anyway, you know that is an excellent option....I have seen the srapes and hits people have taken to their bikes in curves and honestly...I don't even like to scrape the pegs...pretty stupid, I know, but I like to keep it all shiny and new with no scrapes....but the old pipe I tear off may be good for the dragon in June....the bub pipes are really low on the bike and man they could scrape pretty bad in a sharp curve.....April is too soon for me to take time off from work...thanks for the serious reply..

Glad you're back Dwight. LEt's do some native weather dance and chase this cold weather away. I'd love to hit Micaels Sunday morning, but not bundled up in 38* weather.

I just say the forecast. They're calling for 56 Sunday. How's that for riding for you guys and gals? I persoanlly am okay if it's 50 or above. Someone actually told me earlier in the week that it was going to be in the 80's this weekend. What a cruel trick....

    Re: Triangle/Eastern/Central NC riders

maybe if we meet up in the early afternoon it won't be so bad....I had said 55 or above, but the thrill of riding is getting to me, so 50 or above and I am in as well....I may need some directions from Cary...I can look on Mapquest.....I sold my VStar like just before we had that awesome 80* weekend and was actually studying for a class and I was soooooo bummed I couldn't ride...but warmer days are coming and before long we will be complaining about the heat under the helmet....

Hey gokey63, you need to post some pics of that bike in your gallery!

And the forecasted high of 56* looks ok, it justtakes several hours to get there from a low of 32* the night before. I guess a 9:30am meet at Michaels is out of the question.

Hey Dwight, good to see you back! Not sure if they're gonna let me carry a gun around or not. They haven't done the background check yet. [;)] Where you moving to, gokey? I think I'll be up for a Sunday ride but I'm not positive. Looks like whatever kind of sinus/lung infection thing I got is trying to come back for round #3. I usually hardly *ever* get sick, but this stuff is kicking my butt. I should know for sure by Saturday sometime if I'll be able to get out some on Sunday.
