The more I think about those suggestions about getting together in Southern Oregon and riding the Crater Lake run and having a few+ in the tavern at night, yea we should make that happen. How's next July sound for everyone? When we ride around Crater Lake, if we get to stop for a few pictures to post, this time I promise I'll keep up!

    Whadya think?

Sounds like fun for me. My wife and I went last July what a great ride.

Yea I like that. Maybe we should start planning this after Christmas. I think it's an incredible opportunity to ride Crater Lake as an over-nighter and maybe group-camp, plus ride around Canyonville, make a loop around Medford/Ashalnd area lakes, and ride 199 to the Redwoods and back again - stopping at the Oregon Caves so the non-locals get a treat. This group of rides blows big holes in almost any other true riding-rally opportunity on the west coast other than the West Coast Warrior's ride. Heck, come to think of it, maybe this can be part of the '08WCW ride?

I have ridden all but the Reedsport to Roseburg section of ride 1 and they are all great rides.

Post it and we will come. I did a 10 day 2-up ride with my GF and we went up the coast from San Jose, fairly deep into Oregon (Coos Bay). Didn't have a Warrior yet (just got mine today!) but it was such an awesome trip, I'd welcome any reason to take a jaunt up the coast into Oregon again.

If it doesn't take place the weekend of the 18th to the 20th of July, I'm in.

That particular weekend I'm very much hoping to be on my to, at and coming back from
the MotoGP event at Laguna Seca.

I am indeed still here. I look in fairly often but have to force myself not to spend hours on this forum cus I already spend far too much time on another non motorcycle jobby.

I've been keeping an eye on the PNWW threads in the hope that I'll come across just such a topic. I'd love to do a ride round Crater Lake.

I've even thought of suggesting a ride from Eugene/Springfield to Sisters in the summer - Oooh! I just did - which, I'm assured is a pleasant and rewarding thing to do. Obvioulsy, being a foreigner and not getting out much with a 13 month old in the house, I wouldn't know, but I'm keen to find out.

Just fitted a screen to my bike. Spent 180 dollars, picked it up from Ramsey Waites, fitted it and took it for a test ride. Now I'm not so sure. Engine noise is amplified, it vibrates - BIG surprise!, NOT -
and seeing as it's only 11" tall and I'm 5'11" my flippin' head is now in the turbulent air whipping of the top edge. 'course, I'm going to give it a week or two. Already rode for about eight miles in the rain yesterday and was pleasantly rewarded with a dry torso and tank bag.

Inclination at the moment though is to take the deuced thing off and pop it on eBay or summat.

Not so wet here, we sit in a rain shadow and a lot of it goes around us. The coast and up north got hit hard tho. I rode to work twice this week and it's looking good for tomorrow also.
