IT is not hard at all to do this mod. There is enough research on this site and Woody send pretty damn good instructions. Actually this mod is a good "gateway mod into getting to know your Warrior.

    Lagalaxy8,

You'll be happy you got this.... I put mine on yesterday and ripped on it today...makes a big difference...no stumble for power at all. It feels like a lot more power than it really is if dyno'd....but the feel is what it is all about anyway. The only thing to get used to is the sucking sound it makes....thought something was wrong with mybike for the first few minutes...

Re: V-BAK kits available, UPDATED 6-19

Hey guys, This kit sounds awesome. My only concern, how hard is it really to put on? You have to rememeber I am horrible at mechanic type stuff. It took me 2 hours just to put the speed star right side air scoop on my bike. With my speed star air ram and my Vance & Hine 2-1 pipe, my bike dynoed at 78hp and 98 ft/lb torque at 5500ft elevation. If I put this kit on, what type of numbers can you venture to guess I will gain? Thanks, BEN

It takes a while, just go slow and you will figure it out.

You said you have the S* right side scoop, this VBAK will render it useless. Don't forget this VBAK removes ALL the stock air. You should be able to see that in my picture above. Not sure if you have had your tank off or not, but with the stock air components still in, it don't look nothing like my picture.

Oh man, That sucks. I just put the speedstar ram on the side. I love the way it looks, and it feels like I got a little more air going through now. Tank off, no way. i told you Im no mechanic. I was able to losen my tank enough to move it over a bit so I could tigthen I screw for my speedstar air kit, buts thats about it. I was scared if I took my tank off all the way I would never get it back on. hahaha

Will let you know. Should get a tracking number soon for mine. I also have the S* scoup and still plan to use the cover but just as a ram air and for cosmetic apreciation. Good thing I did not shell out full $$ for it. Anyone have a S* air intake cover in black they want to exchange for chrome?
