    Hidden Rear Caliper

Here's a few pics of the hidden rear brake caliper in progress.

    Cut the Original Tab off.

    Machined new tab.

    Insert Image:

    Mounted up to tack weld.

    Insert Image:

    Welded and then cleaned up.

    Insert Image:

    Painted and remounted.

***Make Sure if you do this mod, when you mock it up to have the caliper in as well, I had to grind material off the swingarm to give the caliper room to move - probably just don't slide the brake caliper down as far behind, and you should be able to avoid my mistake***

Oh - and here is my 110 Cam Cover on the CNC. Just waiting to get it back from the Powder Coater (along with other parts). Finished pics to come soon.

Haa!!! As you know it wasn't that easy - I thought I was having a problem bleeding the brake, but then I found that the caliper didn't have room. If it wasn't for that, it wouldn't have been too bad. Let me know how it goes w/Chris.

    Re: Hidden Rear Caliper

I would cool if someone offered an exchange deal for that mod. Send off your unmodified rear caliper bracket and for some $$$$$$$$ get back a nice bolt on hidden bracketready to go.

Did you have the rear arm painted or powder-coated?
