My understanding is you need dual oil coolers and its more of a around town type bike.. Like a bar hopper not that I would condon this type of activity.. Talk to Reza or Nigel at PR.. Can't beat the numbers and the sleeper look..
    125Hp AND ALMOST 150 tq

Also realize it's not just a bore kit....the engine case has to be opened up completely for some machine work. I know there are some out there and I haven't heard of a failure yet.
    Rides:
2003 Suzuki Volusia 800 (too small, sold)
2005 Yamaha Road Star Warrior 1700 (Awesome - medical reason forced sale
(Unfortunate, Unscheduled, Car Induced, Violent Bicycle Dismount)clicky details)
2006 Suzuki VStrom 1000 (GREAT deal forced trade)
2007 Yamaha FJR AE 1300 (FJR: Freakin Japanese Rocket)

If talking politics is out, how am I going to find out who the Idiots are?

So many beers.....so little human blood volume.

Just because you aren't paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

i called PR a while back and they said that with the rods and case boreing and everything it was going to cost about 10,000 and take a couple months but far as dependability that it was the same kit they use on ther bike and should hold up.

$10,000.00 ? Wow! that's pretty steep, not to mention waiting a couple of months. Thanks....

The last word I got was $2900 and a few weeks, and this is the ONLY RSW mod I'm willing to do on a credit card or a bank loan. Everything else we save the money first to pay the credit card. As it happens I've emailed PR three times in the last six months and left one message by phone and no response. Maybe now that its a $10k price they know nobody is going to do it. Plus they are backing away from the Warrior. If anyone hears solid info I'd sure appreciate a heads-up.

10,000 was for the whole kit plus cams , head work, shipping and all. all i needed to do is remove and reinstall the engine. i will try to find the price sheet that PR sent me. this was last spring when i priced it. i may check back into it if it has came down that much

I have the 122cuin kit on my bike and the best numbers we got on it was about 132Hp and 151ft-lbs. But I am running wide open speed star velocity stacks with no filters. With a filter on expect 3HP drop. My bike is geared tall, I have the 33 tooth front pulley and the 280 and the road star 5th gear. None the less the bike pulls extremely hard. Nigel's cams are really good for mid range and top end.

You do nto have to go all out, you can get the 2.0L kit plus pipe and PCIII and the air filter kit and you will be very happy... I have not had any problems, the bike starts and runs extremely well.

We have done about 4 of these kits so far including my own. So far very good, with no issues. Nigel did change the lifters as the early ones made a lot of noise, the newer ones are much better.

If you are in a hot climate, I would definitely go with the oil coolers. They are good for at least 25 degrees on hot days.

OK one valid question that came up... why did I not go with the Turbo. The main reason, was that I wanted to keep the V-Twin sound during Idle. This to me is music to my ears and what I love most about the cruisers. Now as far as bang for the buck goes, you get more with the Turbo. With just billet rods and changing fo pistons, you can get to 127HP wit the Turbo. Do more like Frankenstein did and you get a lot more.

The setup I have which is listed on the Cycle Image web sitehttp://www.cycleimage.com/store/product.asp?PID=4005 is about $8500 and the Turbo is $2K or so less.

    Hope this helps.

    Nahhhh!

You where just too afraid you might not be able to handle the extra power! [:D][8D]

171rwhps an 169ftlbs on street gas with the intercooler, over 224rwhps on race gas.

That's the stuff that makes a ZX14 look old... [8][;)]

122ci is nice 108/110 with turbo is so much better! [^] And if you are crazy enough add NOS on top of that... [:p]
