    Got my 260 Chrome Cycle image kit installed yesterday, pulling the bearings took some time & had to buy a blind bearing puller. The only way to get them to budge was to use a lot of heat on the hubs. I Wasn't willing to pay the stealership $400 for the job & doing it myself I was able to pull the bearings with no damage & reuse...

    I'll post pics once I get all my other chrome Christmas goodies installed so far it's looking sweet! Many thanks to organizing this group buy.

    I have my bike on the trailer ready to take to Performance Edge tomorrow morning.Still not sure if I am going with the 280 or the 260 kit haha.I really want the 280 but we'll see.

    I have the 280 chrome kit from C.I.,and it looks awsome.No trouble to install.Like Mantiz said $400 dollars for dealer to do bearings.I should have bought the bearing puller also.It took me about 2 hrs. to get use to the handling, because it does change,but if you ride well there is no problems.DNGrumpys fender mod. works perfect,so you can use your fender.If you really want the 280, get the 280, you wont regret it I promise you. It was a hard decision for me too!!!

    Hey Duke - you can get the bearing puller by making nice w/ your local dealer. Or in my case, have it pulled/installed for you....[;)]

    Here's were I got the puller from, luckily I have a store not to far so I didn't have to ship it. ($30)

    Darkstar, suggested this tool in another post.

    I also recommend the bearing race driver set, made pushing in the bearings really easy with absolutely zero damage ($40).

    Well, my bike goes in on Feb.16th to G&S Cycle, got the word today. He's been real busy. It all works out because I was able to purchase all the other parts I wanted on the bike, along with Christmas gifts I recieved for the bike and with the 260 kit i'm very anxious to see what it will look like at completion. I'll post before and after pics when I get it back.

    My bike is at Performance Edge. I am going with the 280 kit along with a custom fender,lights and license plate holder.I am also thinking of having a new paint job,I am thinking about having it lowered also.I am trying to make it look like bmb408's warrior when he had the 280 on his. does anyone have pics of a 280 with a custom fender. What do you guys think about lowering the bike with this set up or should I leave it at stock height. I am really trying for the look of bmb408's warrior with the 280 he has. here is the link to his bike

    My wheels and swing arm are also at G&S. Originally scheduled to start the 17th of this month but moved to this week. Yep, Eric & Co. are busy. Of course pics will follow.
