    What's your ECU #'s?

I just found out yesterday while test driving and messing with ECU numbers that the number goes way over +/- 100 on both ends?? For some reason I thought it only had +/- 7. So, I started bumpin' up the ECU to try to get rid of the backfire and found out the richer it runs, less vibrations it will generate...I noticed my handlebar vibrating significantly less after the bump up. After over 60 miles of test run yesterday, I'd begin to wonder what number other people have settled on after much tests I hope. If you have tested and settled on a number on your ECU CO 01 & CO 02, tell me what it is and what changes you made to your bike. NO PCIII's please. My PCIII is sitting on my shelve ready to be installed but I'm sort of waiting until I get a BAK to install with.[:D]

My original settings were -1, +4. They are now +8, +13, after many plug readings. I have plugged my AIS, installed Churchkey's VBAK, and added Frankenstein's SuperBazooka. Interestingly enough, I can still get 50+ mpg commuting and low 40's if I want to play around a bit - on regular gas.

Derrick, I'm running +7 on both cylinders. Blocked off AIS, Jug Huggers, Woody's (Churchkeys) V-BAK. Intersting about the +/- 100. Can the stock injectors put out that much fuel (whatever "100" means)? That's a huge jump from what I think most of us are running.

I think you would be hard pressed to find 2 people with the same factory numbers. mine are -7/-5

Monstrddg, are you sure it's not +7/+5? my stock setting was -1/-3 and it was way too lean that my first stock headers turned completely blue before I even learned to figure out how to adjust ECU.

My ECU is set on 18 both co and my plugs are still gray on the electrode and black around the outer ring. I have V big air and 11 to 1 pistons and a speed * cam. Do you guys think I should bump it up a little more?

rxape: looks like you're running rich. you should lower the number and check the plugs again.[;)] After much tests, I'm running +10/+14 with the roadhouse slip-on. anyone else with just the pipe add-on?
