I happen to like it, not to mention I bought one. I like more of the sportbike canister look, everything else reminds me of something on a Harley, not to mention way to loud. JMO

I dont have as much of that problem now that I have raised the rear, from last falls juant, but I am nowhere near the beast you are, Master Yoda [8D][:D][8D]
If you want it done right, do it yourself - then explain what you did to the engineer.

    Re: Baron's Sport Nasty

I picked one up for cheap $ off of eBay about a month or so ago. I got it as a stop-gap until my Roadhouse slip-on comes in. I didn't think I'd like it that much, but for the money it had to be an improvement over stock.

It's about 1/3 the size of the water heater and weighs even less than that. I haven't dyno'd, but there is a noticable improvment in response/acceleration. The sound is pretty nice... throaty, kinda reminds me of a 'vette with glass packs. Having a Midnight, I'm not too fond of the color, but that can be fixed.

I still have the RH on order, but I've come to like the Baron. When the RH finally comes in I'll have a decision to make... [;)]

I'm lifted about as high as it will go and even with the R1 forks that dive less , it still grinds on the pipe like a skate boarder on a hand rail.At least thats what it feels like.

I had that slip-on on my bike for awhile(2004), was testing it for Baron when they were doing r&d. It actually made about 7hp when they put my bike on the dyno, I just didn't care for the looks but it performed well and sounds nice and throaty.
