    M109R rear wheel on warrior.....

So I searched this for awhile and found nothing. I was at the suzuki dealer getting a helmet for my wife, and noticed the M109R rear wheel is a stock 240. So I looked on ebay and they are selling these wheels for about $300. Everything on the wheel looks to be the same as a warrior wheel bare. Has anyone tried to swap these? Any info would be great, since having my stock wheel made into a 240 is too pricey for my allowance from my wife.

i have never even considered it so i cant give you an answer but the fact that the warriors belt drive as opposed to suzuki's shaft drive make me think it would be a rather difficult swapHmm would give the warrior a different look though

Do you need the front M109 to match the rear?

How much more to convert m109 shaft drive on rear wheele to belt drive? If not much maybe worth it.

I would not want the front wheel, unless it was a 21" wheel.

I know that having the warrior wheel widened and buying a tire will come out to $850 i think is what I read.

When I saw pictures of the m109 wheel on ebay, it did not look that different once stripped all the way down.

Is there a way to pull the insides of the warrior wheel and swap them into the m109 wheel? I don't know what all is involved in even doing that with a harley wheel.  Since the m109 and warrior are both metric bikes, I was hoping that some parts could swap right over.

maybe the bearings are diferent, see if the numbers on the bearings match, if they do, it's probably worth looking into. but sounds like alot of work

The M109R is known for its weak shaft (not to mention clutch and transmission issues). Check the numerous threads related to this, Suzuki is ignoring the issue. If you want to risk your life, go ahead with the mod. IMO, it will be WAY cheaper to mod your current setup and be sure it does not snap like a little piece of wood when you are on the highway at 80miles/hr.

I take it by your comment that you are no longer married? Or does your wife let you do all the things you want and not say anything?

Re: M109R rear wheel on warrior.....

I think the question here is will any wide wheels from factory motorcycles bolt on to a warrior. I think the closest match will be a raider wheel, the 109 will have some shaft to belt issues. What about the harly rocker wheels? Does anyone have any insight or knowlege about this? I have been keeping an eye out for a raider wheel to give it a shot. I figure with the 7.5 rim and a dunlop 240 I shouldnt have to mod the swingarm. By the way a 240 is 1.5in wider than a 200 so to me a 7.5 inch wheel seems like the right size.

no Kevlar, i don't live my life by your standards, again ,let me say......i didn't get married so that i could have someone telling what or what not to do.  if thats your fate , I'm sorry for u, but don't assume that we all have the same lot in life. I'm not really interested in what " you think wifes are for"      oh and dude, you are 26, dont think you are quite qualified yet to be handing out life lessons, my socks have lived longer.
