    Carlini Super sweeps

Just arrived.  I got the 1.5 inch diameter 9 inch rise.  Amazing looking chrome, Amazing quality, flawless joints where the risers meet the cross bar.

    Pics later.

Will be installed over the dark depression season (winter).  I'll be taking a lot of step by step pictures and notes along the way, riser bolt size, electrical wire extension lengths, soldered/mecahanical splices, etc, etc,.  Wires will be routed internally.

Then please check your riser spacing, You need 3-1/2" riser spacing for these to be a direct bolt-on.  I'm planning to do a little bit of machining to the top clamp of the triple-tree if need be.

I think you might have to get the correct Carlini's, cause mine were a direct bolt on.....

No You got your wires crossed there buddy Surprise

100mm riser centers to be exact on the Warrior (Approx 4") ... 3-1/2" spacing is std HD Wink

    As Darkstar stated, it's a bolt-on

Nope, my wires ain't crossed, the Carlini's I just got have 3-1/2" riser spacing, I know the warrior is 100mm (3.937").  Carlini didn't give an option for nor did it specify the riser spacing, I knew a few on here put them on a warrior so I ordered myself a set.  I learned it's 3-1/2" spacing when I opened up the box.  I have a message into Carlini to see if both are available, if yes then I send these back for an excahnge.  If not I got myself a small challenge to get these on.

Maybe, just maybe you will find your front forks bend and can (for safety) go to ebay and end up with an R-1 front end complete with 6 piston brakes!   Obviously a safer setup!!

needanewscooter .... I'm not selling anything here or trying to make you look bad, just attempting to help you and others out with correct info Smile

Sorry to hear this but IMO someone is taking you down the garden path. Very recently i had an interest in the Carlini bars and when i last checked their distributors were PCS & Phat Perf for the metric bars as shown in the enclosed links

    Good Luck

    Re: Carlini Super sweeps

Hey, no problem Alan, I welcome the help.  Thanks for those links.  The pacific coast star site details the riser width at 4 inches which certainly puts my mind at ease "big time".  Carlini hasn't replied back to me yet but I'm sure I can do an exchange.  I'll up-date the topic as soon as I get this straightened out on my end.  Thanks again!
