I've got an 07' charcoal with the silver stripes too, and I've had both the clear and the smoked and I think the smoked looks way better, plus is sorta blends in with the paint. There's a pic in my gallery of the rear of the bike with the smoked clear alternatives. If your interested I could snap a few more pics for you.
