The good news is nobody was offended. Yes people died, but what if the feds went after him before the crime? My goodness, that would be offensive to some people! We don't want that. The world is candy canes and unicorns. Dead people OK, but looking into potential terrorists based on origin of a name and things that person said? My goodness me!
Wake up America! Think of each of the families affected by this. Then think of the extended families of the dead an wounded. I think they're a little offended now, but somehow that's OK with a whole bunch of Americans, as long as no one was profiled.
Name me a time when any 8 year old Asian girl blew up a plane? How about a 96 year old white lady? Hmm. but we better use RAMDOM searches at airports. Muslim man between 18 and 35? Well, let see the majority of terrorist have turned out to be Muslim men between 18 and 35, but the search needs to be RANDOM so we don't OFFEND anybody. So, let that Muslim man go with out a search please.
I hope all the people who hate profiling never give a description of their thief, robber or attacker. We wouldn't want the police to go looking for the fat white man in chef outfit if that was the attacker. Might be offensive to fat white chefs. Better to tell the police you don't want them singling any particular group out. they should search all toddlers and elderly of all races. Hey, the crime may go unsolved and the criminal free to commit the deed against another man woman or child, but at least no one would be offended.
Is it just me?
Without the second amendment, the rest do not matter.
