How long do these recalls take?

I dropped my bike off on 10-28-09, and when I called today they told me it will be Saturday or Monday before they are done?  Is this normal????

I know the one recall is in-depth, but almost 2 weeks???   These guys are killing me....

something is wrong with this picture. TPS....eh....an hour depending on how busy it is in the shop.

CPS....couple/3 hours again depending on the schedule....

2 weeks?? unacceptable....I'd ask what the heck is going on...waiting on parts?? even so....from the time of dropp off....he should have known what he needed right away and ordered the parts as needed.

    I'd be cranky...thats for sure!!!

    He's coming, are you ready?

Depends on what recall your having done?

    1. TPS an hour max

    2. CPS could take 3 hours if done correctly. Make sure they don't cut the harness and wire it in. The recall states replace the entire harness. Look at the CPS wires below left side large cover to see if  were cu. They sould NOT BE!!

PALIN FOR PRESIDENT!!!! Stop the Cruel Liberals from destroying our Country.. Our Founding fathers Biggest mistake was not putting in TERM LIMITS!! Our biggest current mistake is NOT FIXING THAT MISTAKE!!!

Heck when they did the tranny recall on mine, they had it almost 1 month.  Something about parts from Yamaha being back ordered.  That was in 04 and a very long month

That's the funny thing, It took them about a week to get the parts BEFORE i even took it in!!!

THis is scaring me now, dude told me they didn't realize how in-depth the recall was, and it's just taking a long time. They've never done this recall on a Warrior before.  Fantastic, I get to be the freaking guinea pig!

I'm having the 'VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL' and the 'ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING' recalls done....I think the 2nd one is the pickup coil?

I'm going to call the owner, I'm losing my patience bigtime.  I'm totally cool about stuff but this is getting outta hand

    THANKS GUYS!
