The Yamaha Road Star Warrior Forum

 So I lived in Monterey CA for about 4yrs. and that is when I became a member. My name at the time was JPMontereyWarrior. Just this last June I had to move. I just recently changed my name to JPEastbayWarrior. I did this so people could tell geographically where I am for rides and emergency repair help. Everyone in CA knows where Monterey is and if you say "east bay" in northern and some of the central California parts those people will know you are talking about the east side of the San Francisco bay (pretty big).  Since I live there now thats why I chose JPeastbayWarrior.

 So the problem is this. I sign in with JPMontereyWarrior because I have too. Once signed in at the top of the page and on my post that are open it says JPEastbayWarrior. But when you look at all the little post on the forums pages it still says JPMontereyWarrior still.

 So about 50% of my name listings are wrong. Could someone help me or could an administrator take care of this for me? I would like to use JPEastbayWarrior for everything.

This is a convenient quark in the new software.  It's convenient because the user can easily change their name.  It's a quark because post references are saved (apparently) based on your current 'name'.  One things is for sure - your original log-in name will never change.  Just your post name can.

 I guess people wont get too confused.  Still kinda a bummer but whatever.
