Ummmm......bring some tissues next time you  go to the Yamaha store please. Smile

New Rule- Nothing new goes on the bike...unless its Black!

**Yamaha has "officially" denied that the Midnight Warrior is equipped with a superior engine to the other colors, but that's because the lawyers told em' to say that.**

Those are sweet and they have an amplified system to play music from your IPOD.  Problem is yamaha are getting as expesive as HD's. They need to start chroming there wheels for the money they are asking..

I bought a Strat (kept the Warrior) about two months ago (not the Deluxe since it wasn't out yet).  It's a fine motorcycle.  I've already got over 4000 miles on it.

Bought it because the wife wants to ride with me more on some long trips and we are going to do some longer touring stuff for our summer vacations (Naitonal parks and such).   They handle very well, but not like a Warrior.  I would NOT want to race one on my Warrior, because I think it would be VERY close.  These big boys will MOVE.

Also - all you have to do is add a Patrick Racing BAK and you get 8-10 more HP (getting you to about 95 hp and 125 torque).  No PC3 needed, and no new pipe required.  I'm doing this mod along with an electronic cruise control in a week or so.

If you like the deluxe, take a look at the Corbin Freightliner fairing and saddle bags for the Strat.  They are awesome, and very expensive.

I would expect a stock strat to outrun a stock Warrior.

I like the Deluxe, I'll be looking for a touring bike, but I want a trunk and cushy seat for my wife. I'll keep my Raider too, cause I just can't part from it.

I ride primarily with a guy that has the Roadliner (no bags). I get him off the line but at about 80 he goes by me, and pulls out about a bike length and that where it stays. It is a very smooth motorcycle and with the slip on he has it sounds very mean, kind of like a big block Chevy.

I rode a strat years ago (when they first got released), yammi dealers had a test ride promo going, I tested one (had it screaming) while my warrior re-call was being done.  I was impressed but I wasn't a big fan of the windshield (picture window) in front of my face....This one seems more to my liking.

A girlfriend $$$$$$$, A Strat Deluxe $$$$$$$ - seems like a catch-22,,,but I will need some kind of back-rest and passenger mini-floorboards for the wife.

I thought the wheels were chromed (based on the asking price), I guess they are just polished aluminum...bummer, oh well that's why it's called negotiating.

The fairing only houses a radio (with AUX iPod jack) and two speakers, okay by me, I don't have any need for GPS, intercom, cruise control, cup holder, cigar lighter, etc.
