Yep that's it. Found this from a post from a few years back.............................................
Raise the bike on a lift, you want the front tire just touching the ground. Loosen the pinch bolts on the trees & tap a small screw driver or chisel in each slot to releive the clamping pressure. Slowly lower the bike untill each fork is above the top tree 1 inch. Make them equal. Pull the screwdrivers out & tighten the clamp screws evenly.
Run the spring preload adjusters down until they are flush with the top nut. If you do not do this you will probably ding the fender on the bracket for the brake line. That is if you are still running the stock brake lines.
Mine has 7deg triple trees so that also kind of drops the front a bit too.
And about "knowing all the answers to any questions you might have" well that may be a slight over statement but I'll do my best to find the answer if I don't know it or make one up!!
