are you stock now? What all did he have done?  How much money do you want to spend because he can always get more and cheaper parts

    +1.

One could say you have a "headquarters" 102. Tell us more about the situation.

a  103 glide is not stock, most likly same as a stage 4 warrior upgrade, air, pipes, tuner, cams ,pistons. this would be similer to what Centerline is running I think. i would think a good 110 should do more than keep you close, or as u will probably here from some " just wait until you get to the twisties"

Injeck is right the 103 is a custom mod for the engine, I think it is a stroker type kit with valve adjustments.  If you are running stock, yeah he might have it for you. My recomendations is to get a custom pipe and computer, perfectly calibrated, that alone should be a very good surprize for your buddy. Also, I read somewhere you can work your gearing up a little to gain more top end.  I just got my bike, and I'm still waiting for the technical manual, so I'm not that very knowledgeable on this particular bike. Iupgraded from a Vulcan 800, yes a girls bike, but it was modded extensively  :)

Before I bought the Warrior, I was thinking on gettng a Dyna Wide, after ridding it, I was very disapointed, they are hogs, with all specifications associated with  that name, big, fat and slow.

I'm still breaking in  my bike, so I do not know it's full potential, but by reading this forum, convinced me on getting my Warrior, so i know you are fast, just let the Force flow through you, Do or Do not, there is no try...

Exactly?? What is this guy talking about?  Also a H-D stock 103 motor is nothing special, you should be able to keep up with it no problem.  You must be 100% stock with your Warrior. With my '04 with slight mods, Pipe, A/C, PCIII I was able to keep up with most any H-D. The only ones that gave me any problem were the V-Rods, now with my '06 with the Patrick Racing drop in pistons, cams, pipe, PCIII, and Bigair I can take them out as well. How mush do you weigh? Maybe it's you, not the bikeStick out tongueBig Smile

speed shifting will also give you the edge Stick out tongue i raced my brother on his identical modded warrior a few years ago, he weighs about 20 more lbs than me, i speed shifted he did not, i left him starring at  my tailight the whole way , he knew there was no catching up to me and just gave up Devil

OK, that explains it, thanks.  No matter what you have, someone out there will always have a bit more or a bunch more.

Re: Smoked by a wide glide:(

nebraskawarrior.. It sounds like you have the exact setup as I do.  I ran with a generic map for a while but then loaded AMOSPRO's map which I believe you can find in the downloads section.  I was BLOWN AWAY by the difference it made.  The bike had not been running near its potential the whole time and I had no idea until that first ride after re-mapping.  My "butt-dyno" could feel the difference big time.  Take-off, into 2nd, and into 3rd the increase in torque and power was obvious.

Just my 2 cents, worth a try.
