Man friday night was awesome! They where going to have a top fuel car doing an expo at the 1/8 in Lawton so my friends and I loaded up to head down. I ran the bike and broke into the 7's!! I knew the track would be in top form so i was excited to see what I could do. Only got to make 8 passes because of the crowd but had plenty of people asking and oogling the only cruiser running down the track. First run I got 7.89 and went south from there as the weather got real humid. But was able to launch the snot out of the bike making for some great power wheelies. I think I got timmid with the throttle though and thats what really killed my time. Not scared of carrying the front tire off the ground through 1st gear anymore!!! All in all we had a good time and I beat one kawa 650 and one suzuki 600. although the chick on the zook was her first time to the track ,it was only my 3rd!!!
